We agree that this can be annoying and so in our quest to help our customer's save energy without compromising their lighting experience we began testing the InstaBright line of "instant on" compact fluorescent bulbs. These bulbs come to full brightness in just seconds leading us to believe they are the industry's fastest starting covered CFLs......read the full text about our 3 very cool compact fluorescent light bulbs here...
Standard bulbs are a more inefficient choice for recessed down lighting is because they radiate light in every unnecessary direction - not just down. They may cost more initially but the savings will slowly add up.... Please read about our CFL flood bulb switch.
