Control module for large scale architectural and media applications using FlexElite nodes CM-550 delivers integrated data and power to FlexElite LED luminaires from Color Kinetics. With multiple mounting options, CM-550 is the single solution for all large scale installations using FlexElite nodes, whether color or white. An integrated test button instantly confirms proper functioning of your devices, eliminating costly and time-consuming reinstallation.

Supports FlexElite luminaires
CM-550 merges 48 VDC from a user-supplied power supply with control data, delivering power and data to luminaires over a single cable, dramatically simplifying installation and lowering total system cost.
Integrated test button and effects
CM-550 features an onboard button for testing LED nodes, even before fully installing your control system. Press the button to instantly show a color wash on attached FlexElite nodes, confirming that your devices are working as expected. Press the button again, and the nodes will resume normal operation. CM-550 also has a built-in fixed-color effect so that you can set static color scenes without needing an external controller.
Modular and versatile
CM-550 is available in a surface mount or DIN rail mount form factor, allowing placement in indoor and outdoor environments. CM-550 is compatible with third-party power supplies, so you can purchase the power supplies that work best for your installation.
ActiveSite integration
ActiveSite is the first ever cloud-hosted connected lighting system for architectural LED lighting installations. ActiveSite allows you to remotely monitor, manage, and maintain an installation site from anywhere in the world, using a secure web connection.
Longer run lengths
CM-550 provides Chromasic gen4 input to luminaires, supporting runs of up to 305 m (1,000 ft) per output port, with up to 200 nodes per run. Also supports up to 550 W of power output.
Expanded dimming flexibility
CM-550s built in 0-10V input allows dimming of FlexElite luminaires using virtually any architectural 0-10 V source.
