We are proud to announce that we are now carrying a full line of induction light fixtures. Our number 1 fixture is an induction parking garage light fixture that replaces up to 175w metal halide garage canopy lights. This induction lighting retrofit is rated to last 100,000 hours and uses on 80 watts of energy. Induction lights emit a white light vs HPS lights that emit an amber light. Compared to LED lights the induction fixtures are a little less expensive and their components have a better history and life expectancy. There are many parts of LED fixtures and drivers that can fail before the LED fails where induction lighting has been around for over 20 years and is tested and reliable.
Some of the most popular LED bulbs are LED outdoor light bulbs and fixtures. LEDs are an excellent choice for use in outdoor applications. Superior Lighting stocks outdoor LED flood lights in 3 sizes; a 10W LED, 30W LED and 50W LED security flood fixtures that are rated to last 25,000 hours with no need for bulb replacement. These are made with a handy mounting bracket. Almost any outdoor fixture can be turned into an LED fixture by just replacing the bulbs with outdoor rated LED bulbs. Depending on your fixture you could opt for the smaller R20 LED up to the PAR38 large outdoor flood bulb. Many decorative fixtures can have their chandelier bulbs replaced with 2 Watt LED chandelier bulbs.
Many customers are questioning us about discontinued light bulbs due to energy regulation. These phased out light bulbs are getting difficult to find and many are hoarding incandescent and halogen bulbs. Superior Lighting recommends changing these light sources to either Compact Fluorescent (CFL) bulbs or LED bulbs. These replacement bulbs use far less energy, last a lot longer and in many cases even look virtually unrecognizable when turned on. Our customer's are finding however that in high wattage applications such as 90 watt and above these new LED/CFL light bulbs are just not bright enough. It is for that reason that we will continue to stock Halogen PAR30 Floods and Halogen PAR38 flood bulbs for as long as we can.
Superior Lighting is proud to announce that we are now carrying a full range of turtle friendly lighting products. Turtle friendly lights are used by Florida coastal properties to ensure that their lighting does not interfere with turtle nestings on the beach. We are now stocking amber LED turtle bulbs that are certified by FWC as well as turtle friendly cut off lighting fixtures and turtle friendly light bulbs and filters.
